Accepted files
- PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF — up to 10 MB per file. Where the 5-file limit applies: in your artwork portal, the private link you get after checking out, you can send up to 5 files per print location. The optional attachment on the cart, before you pay, takes one file per placement — send the rest through the portal.
- Export SVG, AI, EPS, PSD or Canva designs to PDF (vector, fonts outlined) or a PNG at the sizes below.
- We check every file’s real type, not just its name; a renamed file is rejected at upload.
Resolution
300 DPI at the printed size. A 4 × 4 in front logo needs at least 1200 × 1200 pixels; an 11 × 11 in back print needs 3300 × 3300 pixels; a 6 × 6 in sleeve print needs 1800 × 1800 pixels. Screenshots, web logos and social-media downloads are usually 72 DPI and print blurry; ask your designer for the original file.
Transparent PNG for transfers
Our prints are full-color transfers (DTF) heat-pressed onto the shirt: whatever is in your file prints, including a white or colored background box. Save a PNG with a transparent background so only the artwork is transferred. If your logo has a white element on a dark shirt, keep that white in the file; white prints.
Maximum print areas
| Location | Maximum size | Minimum pixels at 300 DPI | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front logo | 4 × 4 in | 1200 × 1200 | Included in every T-shirt package |
| Back | 11 × 11 in | 3300 × 3300 | +$2.50 per shirt |
| One sleeve (left or right) | 6 × 6 in | 1800 × 1800 | +$2.50 per shirt |
Artwork is scaled to fit inside the area while keeping its proportions. Larger prints, a second sleeve, or other locations are quoted individually. The prices above are for our adult T-shirt packages; polos, hoodies, youth tees, aprons and other items are priced in their quote, prints included.
Colors and details
- Design in RGB; we handle the conversion. Screen and print never match exactly, and the proof shows the closest result we can produce.
- Keep lines at least 1 pt (about 0.014 in) and text at least 6 pt for legibility after pressing.
- Avoid very large solid areas of a single dark color on light shirts if breathability matters; transfers are slightly heavier than the fabric.
- Fine halftones and drop shadows print, but tiny isolated dots under 0.5 mm may not transfer.
Naming and notes
Name files by location (front-logo.png, back-event.pdf, sleeve-flag.png) and use the instructions box on your artwork page to say which file goes where and any color or placement preferences. We confirm everything on the proof before printing.
Not sure about a file? Ask us before you order: we reply by e-mail, and you can attach the file to your reply. Or upload it after checkout and we will flag any problem on the proof.
