Before you approve your proof: a 5-step checklist

After you pay, we send you a free digital proof. It shows how your shirts will be printed. Nothing prints until you approve it, so take five minutes and check these five things.

· Press My Crew, Chicago Ridge

Five checks before you approve: shirt and color, every word, print sizes and sides, size counts, and your date.
Five things to check on every proof.

1. The shirt and the color

Is it the right shirt? The right color? Now check the count for every size: how many smalls, mediums, larges and so on. Match it to your crew’s list, not a guess.

Not sure about sizes? Our size and fit guide has real measurements. Lay a shirt that fits you well flat on a table, measure it, and compare. The chest width of a flat shirt is not the same as a tape around your chest.

2. Every single word

Read every word out loud, slowly: names, phone numbers, websites and dates. One wrong number is easy to miss. Then look at the logo itself. Is anything missing? Any sample words left over?

Make sure it is the right version of your logo. A file called “logo-final-NEW.png” doesn’t tell you much. Put a date in the name, and keep the one you approved.

3. The size and spot of each print

Look at the front, the back and the sleeve, one at a time. Check the size in inches. Check which way each print faces, and which sleeve it is on: the wearer’s left or right. Can’t tell from the proof? Ask us. Don’t guess.

A proof shows the layout. It can’t show how the print feels, and it can’t match every screen color. Our logo size guide explains what to look for.

4. The date you need them

Tell us the date you need the shirts in your hands. If you hand them out before an event, that is the date that counts. We confirm your production date on your proof. Shipping adds 1–5 business days after that. Picking up at our Chicago Ridge shop skips the shipping time. The shipping page has the details.

5. Save it all for next time

Keep your order number, the proof you approved and your original logo file. Write down the shirt style, the color and the print sizes. When you order again, tell us to use the same details, or tell us what to change.

When your shirts arrive

Open the box and check everything before you hand shirts out. Count the sizes. Look at each print. If something is wrong:

Tell us within 10 business days of delivery. If the box arrived damaged, tell us within 5 business days. We reprint or credit, at our cost, a print that does not match your approved proof, or a shirt that is faulty. Mistakes that were on the proof you approved, and sizes that don’t fit, are not covered. Read the full returns and reprints policy.
